As a remote customer service representative, you will be responsible for:

• Answer questions regarding current coverage with customers to meet their unique needs.
• Yield inbound customer inquiries via phone calls or emails, providing the right pathways to answer their questions.
• Enter leads, pull reports, and submit changes on existing policies.
• Possess previous experience in insurance based customer service with a solid understanding of best practices and a customer-centric mindset.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and convey information clearly.
• Exhibit adaptability and resourcefulness to address customer inquiries efficiently and find solutions to their concerns.
• Collaborate with team members and escalate issues as needed.
• Approach problem-solving proactively.
• Commit to delivering outstanding service and building positive customer relationships.
• Handle administration tasks as needed to best serve the team as a whole.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of customer service experience preferred
• Experience working with an independent agency preferred
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability in judgment and handling angry/irate customers.
• Ability to expeditiously process quality transactions and provide follow-up as necessary.
• Ability to work as a team member and achieve team goals in a client-focused environment.
