If you join Inspire, you will have your own admin team, flexible schedule, Health Insurance (Medical, Dental & Vision), 401K, beautiful offices with several locations, a positive fun work culture, team outings and meetings and the ability to create a schedule that works for your life. Currently, we need a Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to help children, adolescents and/or adults. Candidates will ideally have full practice authority. New PMHNP's or Candidates without full practice are welcome to apply!! We have a collaborative relationship in place with a physician for monthly consultation to support you in your career journey.

Inspire Counseling Center is a fun, trendy, quickly-growing group private practice with nearly 70 therapists, 2 PMHNP's and is located in Kenilworth, Lake Forest and Northbrook and Evanston, serving kids, adolescents and adults with mostly anxiety, depression and adjustment disorders. We have two experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) on staff, who will be able to collaborate and be a like-minded colleague, providing full service experience for our amazing clients.

Our approach to psychiatric medication is that it is an important and necessary tool for some patients, in order to do their psychotherapy work. All of our clients will be getting support from therapists (either at Inspire or outside Inspire) to help support your work to be most effective and allow you to focus on what you do best. Our therapists will do a compreneshive Intake session with patients before your first visit, so you will have access to their mental and health history, medications, prescriptions and allergies before you see the patient.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year

Schedule:

4 hour shift or 8 hour shift

Monday to Friday (Sat or Sun optional)

Supplemental pay types: Commission pay

Responsibilities:

Psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments

Prescription of psychotropic medication and and follow-up medication.

Crisis intervention, as needed

Treatment plans for medications and therapies that best support each patient.

Maintain all documentation necessary for patient records

Collaborate with Inspire's team to best support each client

Create strong relationships with patients and their families and provide education regarding medications/symptoms/illness/side effects

Collaborate with other treatment providers, as needed

Ability to work independently, problem solve and manage multiple priorities

Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

Current licensed to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP in the state of Illinois

Only candidates with full practice authority or collaborative relationship in place with a physician will be considered

Previous experience working with children/adolescent and adult patients in private practice a bonus, but not required.
