• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required
• Current LPN license as a practical nurse in the State of Illinois required
• Current ACLS and Basic Life Support certifications
• Ability to quickly recognize changes in condition and needs of patients
• Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy in carrying out work duties

General Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse I works as a team member with other ancillary personnel under the direction of the registered professional nurse to meet technical care needs for a specified population of patients. 
These duties are to be performed in a highly confidential manner, in accordance with the mission, values and behaviors of Mercy Hospital and Medical Center.
