Job Summary:
Our non-profit center is seeking a resourceful, approachable and initiative taking Math Paraprofessional to work proactively with our students to help maximize their learning opportunities. We aim to foster a positive and nurturing environment within our school. This Tutor/Paraprofessional will assist teachers with creating and implementing lesson plans, and then in turn carrying out these plans with students. This Tutor/Paraprofessional will also be responsible for communicating any updates, successes, or points of concerns to the respective teacher or the Program Director. This Tutor/Paraprofessional should have experience navigating through material and course work with students on an individualized basis. The Math Tutor/Paraprofessional for this role will generate about 20 hours per week, for an approximate 15-week period.Shift: 20 hours per week
