The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of systems, components, and machinery utilized in BOP control systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and design electronic interface circuitry applications
• Lead the design team in the development of electrical, schematic, cabling and assembly drawings.
• Define equipment scope and content during the design process
• Develop applications of controls, instruments and systems for industrial and commercial use
• Oversee and direct the construction, installation and operational testing of equipment to ensure production meets customer requirements.
• Establish the design criteria for projects, referencing codes and standards
• Document all design changes and communicate changes to all appropriate parties
• Provide information to sales team to ensure accurate quotes
• Engineer components and assemblies for BOP control systems to meet customer needs, applicable codes and standards.
• Provide technical support during testing
• Participate and contribute to design reviews
• Review and approve engineering documentation
• Comply with all HSE policies and promote safety throughout the plant
• All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years experience designing BOP control systems
• Experience working with Hazardous Area standards
• Experience with GE Fanuc, Rockwell, or Controllogix
