We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Maitre d' to join our amazing team at Esteban Restaurant located at the Casa Muras Hotel & Spa. The Maitre d' will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Responsibilities:

· Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and provide them with a warm welcome.

· Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are seated comfortably.

· Strategically assign tables for VIP and/or special events.

· Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.

· Ensure that all requests and demands are accommodated.

· Walk the floor and check all tables, ensuring needs are met.

· Coordinate with the waitstaff to ensure efficient service and smooth dining experience.

· Handling guest complaints; addressing and resolving guests’ complaints or food service issues promptly.

· Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant promotions.

· Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.

· Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

· Liaison between Front of the House and Back of the House.

· Communicate with the kitchen staff and food runners to address any customer related issues.

· Ensure the restaurant is clean and safe from any hazards due to spills or debris.

· Support safe work habits and contribute to a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

· Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient in using POS systems.

· Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.

· Knowledge of restaurant operations, including seating arrangements and reservation management.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
