Job Description:
This individual will be responsible for creating dashboards and reports to be used by product management teams across the Merchandising organization to promote data driven recommendations and business insights. They will also be acting as a problem solver by providing operational direction from existing documentation and working to create KPIs and objectives for the business to focus on. This will be a Jr. Data Analyst role supporting in both a technical and functional capacity. The goal is to create one comprehensive space where product teams can go to pull reports for store planning, space planning, supplier performance, or product performance. This group has high visibility from executive leadership and is a great opportunity to join an integral section of the organization that has a direct impact on the bottom-line.
- 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst identifying, gathering, and transforming data in an enterprise level environment
- Extensive experience utilizing SQL and Tableau to create custom KPIs, dashboards, and reports
- Ability to interpret data to recognize upcoming trends/patterns, and communicate those to internal stakeholders to influence business decisions
- Experience working internally to understand business objectives, create KPIs and data sets to track those goals/objectives
• Experience with Google BigQuery or Python to enhance data analysis
- Domain knowledge within the retail or merchandising space
- Utilize SQL and Tableau to consolidate multiple streams of data into one easily accessible and user friendly dashboard
- Work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders to create data driven insights and make better business decisions
- Recognize upcoming data patterns to create relative business objectives and KPIs
- Continuous review and monitoring of KPIs to ensure evolving business goals and priorities
