Emergency Veterinary Assistant - Triage

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 / hour

Description

Here is What Your day May Consist of:

• Triage incoming emergencies 
• Gather patient histories and vitals 
• Restraint for patient procedures 
• Assist veterinarians and technicians in diagnostics and treatments 
• Dispense and administer medications 
• Cleaning and restocking 
• The ability to communicate with clients 

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:

• Experience is not required, but animal care experience is preferred
• We are also looking for a strong work ethic, good communication skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, and a passion for saving the lives of animals.
