Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Southern California Company: THE Salary Range: $105,000 to $115,000 per year Job Description: The Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in creating accurate project schedules to meet client expectations and timelines, coordinating internal resources as well as subs/ vendors for timely execution of projects, communicating with clients, owners, and property managers to ensure decisions are made and a mutual understanding is met. This position will be paramount in the planning and overseeing all aspects of permitting, budgets, and labor metrics. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects in Southern California, from conception to completion.Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure alignment with client objectives and company goals.Collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to establish project requirements, goals, and expectations.Manage project teams effectively, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and project success.Monitor project progress, budget expenditures, and resource allocation, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and construction best practices.Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges, proactively addressing issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.Foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, addressing concerns and maintaining open lines of communication throughout the project lifecycle.Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and forecasts to senior management, clients, and other key stakeholders.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to construction management in Southern California. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and exceed client expectations.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and negotiate win-win solutions.Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.Thorough knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in Southern California.Demonstrated expertise in construction methodologies, scheduling techniques, and cost management practices.Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
