Our product development team specializes in hands-on prototyping work and engineering solutions aimed at revolutionizing healthcare. As an intern with us, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment focused on creating impactful medical devices. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to various aspects of mechanical engineering and design, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting. You will work closely with experienced engineers on projects that impact products and services, contributing to the advancement of our engineering capabilities.Position: InternResponsibilities: Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to develop concepts and prototypes for medical devices and technologies.Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, electronics, and software for medical devices. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to solve technical challenges in healthcare. Support hands-on prototyping activities, including 3D printing, machining, and assembly of prototype devices. Conduct research on materials, components, and technologies relevant to medical device development. Assist in testing and validation activities to ensure the safety, efficacy, and regulatory compliance of prototype devices. Document design iterations, test results, and technical specifications in accordance with company standards. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate project activities and meet project milestones.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in medical device design and development.Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field hands-on skills with experience in prototyping, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical and/or electronic systems. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for 3D modeling and design. Basic understanding of electronics and familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi) is desirable. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Passion for innovation and a strong interest in the intersection of engineering and healthcare.
