Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk.

• Position type: Contract (6 months - 1 year contract assignment with PTO and paid holidays)
• Location: Syracuse, New York
• Job/ Shift Hours : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk , you will:

• Contacting customers via phone to assist with the collection process
• Processing credit card payments and applying all payments/credit to the correct client accounts.
• Ensuring correct payment application of wire transfers and check payments, as per received remittances details
• Coordinating refund requests for any duplicate or overpayments and application of unapplied payments
• Preparing and mailing of monthly statements
• Handling follow up on inquiries received from customers related to payments, collection activities, and/or invoicing issues.
• Generate, prepare and update accounts receivable reports
• Manage accounts sent to Collection Agency, payment problems, and cashflow
• Perform routine office functions
• Keep track of received post-dated checks and assure their timely deposits

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2-years of AR experience
• Strong aptitude to learn and navigate new database/systems
• Excellent computer skills including MS Excel

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $20- $23 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
