Here are the job position details for your review:

Job Title: Production Operator 1
Pay Rate: $18.38 to $18.38/HR
Duration: 12 months
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Shift: 1st Shift -(6:00 am-2:30 pm M-F)
Note: Must pass a background check and drug test with minimum education qualification of High School Diploma

This position is for the Building Automation division.

We are looking for a Production Operator 1

Description

  • We are looking for someone who has some building experience
  • Need Dependable Transportation
  • We need someone that can also lift up to 25lbs,
  • Be able to work on their feet,
  • Can work by themselves or with others.
  • Good Attitude
  • Follows Directions and is open to change
  • Can work with their hands (Previous manufacturing, Food Service, working on cars, etc…)
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment.
  • Can Learn Quickly and repeat what was learned.
  • Good attendance.

Basic Function

  • Performs assembly, test, and packaging of electronic and mechanical products to prescribed quality and production standards and in accordance with ISO procedures.

Essential Duties

  • Manufactures products using visual aids, written and verbal work instructions, and procedures.
  • Moves parts and materials as needed to maintain an orderly material flow.
  • Rotates between operations within a work cell as well as between departments. Prepares work cell and/or department records.
  • Notifies appropriate personnel if process/method is out of compliance.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

  • Ability to function and contribute in a team environment.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, or a combination of all movement types as required by and for the duration of the job assignment.
  • Capability to use hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.), electric and pneumatic power tools, and in-house developed product-specific tooling/fixtures and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills required

Salary: $18.38 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
