Informatix, a full-service information technology and solutions provider to government and business, is currently seeking a Finance Supervisor to work out of its Indianapolis, IN office.

Job Summary:

The Operations Finance Supervisor is responsible for performing adjustments, reporting, reconciliation, and escalating all out of balance issues that may arise.

The Operations Finance Supervisor will actively participate and provide assistance with daily operations processing in order to meet contractual deadlines. The Operations Finance Supervisor serves as back up operations leader in Project Director’s absence. The Operations Finance Supervisor will actively participate in corporate finance activities and create reports and generate information as requested by corporate leadership and internal management. The Operations Finance Supervisor will also work closely with the client addressing contractual obligations.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform bank deposits on a daily basis
• Oversee contract compliances with the State and banking partner
• Perform daily financial adjustments
• Perform daily reconciliation of contractual reports
• Prepare all financial reports
• Assist with daily data entry/posting of payments, as needed
• Assist with audit activities
• Serves as back up for operational Leads and Project Director, as needed
• Develop and maintain written procedures on all reporting requirements
• Maintain comprehensive record of all finance activity
• Serve as a liaison and effectively responds to State program needs and concerns
• Create departmental reports, as required
• Ensure deliverables to the client are being met within the specified deadlines
• Perform other related duties as required and directed

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be able to handle details of a confidential, critical nature and must function effective and efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative, professional environment. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field desirable.
• 2 Years’ experience in data processing, finance, accounting, banking or other relevant field.
• Previous experience in a lead worker or supervisory position.
• Previous experience in a payment processing center a plus.
• Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail.
• Strong 10-key skills.
• Due to the diverse nature of this operation; candidate must show flexibility and willingness to adapt to change and work effectively during periods of pressure and stress.
• Candidate must display cooperation and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities.
• Candidate must use good judgment and analytical skills to problem solve.
• Candidate must be able to work independently, with little supervision once assignments have been established.
• Candidate must demonstrate a positive attitude with excellent attendance and dependability.
• Must be able to work 7 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Must be able to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.
