Information and Infrastructure Technologies, Inc. (IIT)/ROGERCO, Inc. (roger) is looking for a skilled Operations/Training Specialist to join our team supporting the Army Futures Command (AFC). This role will be responsible for the primary execution of training programs, provide advice and consultation to the Operations Officer, other leaders, and the HQ AFC Staff.
What You’ll Do:
– Coordinate, training, program implementation, reporting and evaluation of the battalion’s training program and assimilating guidance from Department of Defense, Headquarters Department of the Army and the United States Army Futures Command using the Digital Management Training System (DTMS) and the Total Employee Development (TED) platform
– Perform staff studies and provides long range guidance and assistance for development and implementation of training programs and training support policy for DTMS and TED within the command
– Develop, administer, and analyze training requirements and requirements/support changes
– Establish and maintain coordination with the AFC G3/5/7
– Develop seamless process for digital systems integration based on analysis and discussions with leaders concerning training management requirements
– Individually orchestrate development of educationally sound training of digital systems for commanders to create battle rosters, after-action reports and develop Mission Essential Task Lists (METL)
– Develop training material and schedules training classes. Training includes the use of training management tools including database development (input), data reporting formats, data training systems, and tools used for training analysis
– Prepare and publish Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), system function descriptions, and troubleshooting instructions
– Provide technical assistance to systems users
– Review, manage, and allocate Military and Civilian personnel training requirements. Ensure that quota allocation exceptions are identified and manually entered in Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) within the required timeframes
– Take timely and appropriate action to avoid late class cancellation and scheduled input diversions
– Provide assistance and checklists for the Command Organizational Inspection Program (OIP)
– Ensure all applicable agencies are advised of changes by ATTRS message, electronic mail, or other correspondence. Maintains a set of SOP for ATRRS
– Demonstrate ability to plan, organize, coordinate, expedite, and adapt work in a highly fluid and demanding environment.
– Prepare and present clear, concise and effective oral and written presentations
– Communicate in writing to prepare staff papers, Information briefings, reports, training information, etc.
– Communicate orally to coordinate work efforts, provide guidance, conduct training, etc.
– Demonstrate skill and ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, and devise solutions to problems.
– Perform other duties as assigned in support of the organization’s mission
Location: Austin, TX (This is an in-person position)
Education: Associate degree
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, additional years of experience may be a substitute for education.
Languages: English
Must be a US Citizen
Active DoD Clearance required
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of the Digital Training Management System and TED to serve as AFCSB subject matter expert on matters pertaining to program implementation and evaluation.
Must possess comprehensive knowledge of Army Training to include but not limited to: Field Manual (FM) 7-0, Training the Force (formally FM 25-100), FM 7-1, Battle Focused Training (formally FM 25-101) and AR 350-1
