Infor is Hiring a Finance Process Functional Senior Consultant Near Alpharetta, GA
Senior Consultants are responsible for implementing Functional Process Applications on Infor Consulting Services implementation projects. This billable role is crucial to the success of our projects. Infor Consultants work with Clients to implement Infor software and industry-standard processes with the aim of reducing costs, increasing customer service, and creating frameworks for enhanced collaboration and business efficiency. While our technology is the enabler and vehicle for achieving business benefits, the quality and experience of our consultants are key differentiators.
The consultant is responsible for delivering business process and application consulting services which include process design, application configuration, testing, client training on Infor software, technologies and tools in accordance with standard implementation methods. The Consultant is also responsible for developing ongoing, successful business relationships with clients and for providing clients with "industry best practice" recommendations.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Assist in the realization of business benefits for clients.
- Participate in full life cycle client-facing implementation projects relating to Infor applications, working as part of an Infor Project team.
- Lead the information gathering and design process for a client implementation, including the development of functional business requirements and solution scope documents.
- Configure a client business solution.
- Develop and execute test plans and test software configurations.
- Provide training to client's key and end users.
- Provide implementation consultancy and application best practice advice.
- Achieve engagement objectives.
- Provide regular internal reports on the status of projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Finance software implementation experience in at least one industry segment: Food & Beverage, Chemicals, Equipment, Service Management & Rental, Fashion, Distribution and/or Manufacturing.
- Understanding of process manufacturing, warehouse management, ERP logistics.
- Project experience with ERP implementations.
- Full lifecycle implementation experience implementing finance ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America (US and Canada).
- Formal customer-facing consulting experience.
- Experience in leading software configuration and functional implementation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of M3 software or other finance software utilized in process manufacturing.
- Acted as a lead in ERP software implementation in any finance area.
