At INFINITEK we are excited to be working with one of our clients who are a globally renowned engineering and manufacturing company with a rich history spanning over 75 years. They specialise in construction machinery, mining equipment, maritime cranes, aerospace components, and more. They are looking to bring in a new Maintenance Field Technican to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems in trucks and products.
• Complete and submit service and field modification reports promptly.
• Collect and report system download information accurately.
• Participate in the rebuild of selected components.
• Interface effectively with customers, providing exceptional service.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate parts inventory.
• Access and update the computerized maintenance program efficiently.
• Uphold safety procedures, including compliance with MSHA & OSHA regulations.
• Handle hazardous waste disposal responsibly.
• Understand and comply with quality assurance requirements.

Competencies:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to interpret maintenance and parts manuals.
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
• Proficiency in reading schematics.
• Flexibility to work on various equipment at different locations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certification.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and travel up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Salary: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour

Experience:

• Electrical/ Mechanical Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• heavy equipment maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mining: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• driving license (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• West Virginia: Relocate with an employer provided relocation package (Required)
