Individually Owned and Operated Ace Hardware Store is Hiring a Part Time - Sales Associate Near Savannah, GA
General knowledge of one or more of the following:
Hardware, tools, fasteners, plumbing, electrical
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of merchandise and help maintain the order and cleanliness of the store
Proactively assist customers in solving problems.
Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.
Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.
Assist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.
Other tasks, as assigned
Other Essential Requirements
Willing to learn all services provided at the store to include glass cutting, key cutting, screen repair and propane refills.
Valid State ID
Education/Training
High School or GED equivalent.
Experience
Retail experience preferred.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, bending, lifting (50 - 80 lbs) and climbing ladders.
High School or GED equivalent
Cashier experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business. ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS IS A REQUIREMNT.
Standing, walking, bending for at least 7-8 hours per shift
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Ability to climb ladders
Must list work experience on application or resume.
