JOB SUMMARY:

This employee will be responsible for filing secondary insurance claims, posting zero payments, and working aging report in a timely manner. Employee will be crossed trained to file Medicaid claims and enter pharmacy charges as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Files secondary insurance claims.

Works aging report.

Posts zero payments.

Follows up with insurance, investigates insurance information.

Backs up Medicaid claims. Enters claims in OHCA portal.

Cross trained and to enter pharmacy charges from Scriptpro to Intergy.

High School Graduate or equivalent. 1 year experience or technical training in medical billing, medical records.

Intergy, Scheduler, Vista, and Scriptpro system experience a plus. Basic computer skills.

Must be detail orientated and organized.

Commercial insurance billing experience.
