We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in creating, managing, and securing environments in AWS. Your role will also bridge the gap between development and operations with your deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices. Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to junior DevSecOps resources.

• Plan, develop and improve DevSecOps processes such as:

  • IaC templates.
  • Test automation and Test-Driven Development.
  • Code configuration and release management.
  • CI/CD pipelines using open-source and COTS technical solutions.
  • Service tagging strategies.
  • Security reviews and testing, security scans, and penetration testing.

• Work collaboratively with Program/Product Management and Agile Development Teams.

  • Follow guidance, especially from Cloud Operations Lead and Chief Architect.
  • Participate in Program Increment Planning.
  • Participate in status meetings as needed.
  • Communicate status, accomplishments, risks, and issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with minimum of 10 years of experience or similar knowledge as normally gained through at least 14 years of directly relevant experience.
• 7 years of experience as a DevSecOps engineer.
• 5 years of experience with AWS.
• 4 years of experience with Terraform.
• 4 years of experience with CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub, SonarCobe, and Snyk.
• 3 years of experience with Agile.
• One or more certifications in DevOps and Security, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Docker Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, and Certified Cloud Security Professional.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work with product and program management teams, Agile development teams, and external stakeholders.
• Expertise with Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack etc.
