As an IT Support Engineer with IndeVets, youll be responsible for the general IT administration of our internal business operations and communication systems, as well as providing IT help desk and support to our employees using these systems.

Job Description: IT Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide technical support to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with experience in imaging workstations, providing onsite and remote support for end users, and application support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
• Maintain user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
• Provide onsite and remote support for end users. Assist users with any questions, troubleshoot problems, and conduct general maintenance for IT systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot user access and act as internal help desk for companys third-party applications used for daily operations (e.g., telephony, password management tool, etc)
• Troubleshoot user issues with Microsoft admin center, SharePoint, Teams, and M365 tools
• IT Asset management - Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals
• Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Track, monitor, and document IT Helpdesk issues to facilitate a timely resolution.

• Create and maintain SOPs and documentation related to common issues/questions regarding IT systems

Additional Job Duties:

• Provision/setup new users - Assist with onboarding and offboarding of users
• Work cross-functionally with the People Success Team to track and assist with onboarding and offboarding needs
• Maintain inventory of equipment available for assignment, loan, or break fix
• Gather and submit new user info to IndeVets MSP
• Coordinate shipping/logistics and asset management details with IndeVets MSP to ensure accuracy
• Hybrid; must be willing to travel to HQ 3 days a week

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of IT Help Desk, Support, or Systems Analyst experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Experience with imaging workstations and laptops.
• Experience providing onsite and remote support for end users.
• Experience providing application support.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
