Independent Horizons is now hiring! Independent Horizons has the position listed below available. This position will require you to travel to Denton, NE 3 times a week.

Monday 2:00pm-9:00pm (Denton,NE) , Tuesday 4:00pm-7:00pm, Wednesday 2:00pm-9:00pm (Denton,NE) , Thursday 4:00pm-7:00pm, Friday 2:00pm-9:00pm(Denton,NE). $18-$19/hr DOE.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning and dietary restrictions
- Assist with transportation to appointments, outings, and community activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals in their homes or residential facilities
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status to appropriate personnel
- Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in social and recreational activities

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred
- Ability to administer medications following proper protocols and guidelines
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
