Hands of Heartland is looking for compassionate and caring individuals to work with the people we support as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).
What You’ll Do: Work directly with people with developmental disabilities assisting them with day to day living activities. You will support individuals with activities and developing skills in a home environment and in community settings. This position will require you to transport individuals in your vehicle. You will be paid mileage for driving.
Hours: Part time or full time available- shifts vary. Positions range from day center DSP to residential DSP.
Skillset Needed for the Job: Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented environment. Flexible and willing to adapt to change. Know the value of communication. Desire to support people and encourage them to reach goals.

Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance. Must be able to pass all background checks. Experience not required.
Pay: $15 to $17 an hour. We pay more for experience and if you have a CNA license. Incentives also available.
