Job Title: Prep Cook

Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr

Shift Times: Shift times will vary depending on client needs

Indeed Flex is hiring Prep Cooks for their hospitality and dining service client in Austin, TX.

From 2/28-4/29 if you work 5 consecutive shifts with this client you will receive an additional $100 bonus! *Terms & Conditions apply*

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in food service is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Must arrive dressed in chef coats or cook's jackets, with black pants, and be well groomed, wearing black closed-toe non-skid shoes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in food production, including grilling and frying.
• Follow recipes and monitor food temperatures for safety.
• Set up and dismantle serving lines and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing surfaces and taking out trash.
• Follow supervisor instructions and accommodate customers with food allergies, providing excellent customer service.
