The role also involves promoting the company as a preferred buyer, collaborating with internal teams to vet deals, and managing the due diligence process to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Candidates must have an extensive and established network in the US oil and gas industry, be a proactive self-starter with strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and management skills. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a minimum of 15-20 years of business development and transaction experience in the oil and gas sector. Experience in managing a land team and collaborating with engineering, geology, and finance teams is essential, with a proven track record of driving business and revenue growth. Familiarity with transaction economics, deal metrics, and returns analysis is necessary, and experience in O&G marketing and reservoir engineering is preferred. The role demands a candidate who is a collaborative team player and is willing to travel as needed.
