Inclusively is partnering with a leading insurance software company to hire a Product Owner.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain the position of a Scrum Product Owner on custom development projects for specific enterprise-level clients.
  • Manage SDLC concurrently for custom projects across multiple engineering teams working on the EZLynx Rater.
  • Manage the product lifecycle for our custom enterprise rating projects
  • Research and compile internal and external requirements from sources such as stakeholder interviews, surveys, requirements workshops, and related opportunities
  • Evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources, reconciles conflicts, converts information from high-level business issues and opportunities into detailed functional requirements
  • Generate and recommend the most appropriate business process flows from the analysis of user tasks and workflows
  • Write user stories, use cases, scenarios, reports, business cases, and user manuals resulting from the business process flows
  • Draw and test for usability concepts such as mockups of user interface designs
  • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
  • Act as the liaison between the customer community (external and internal customers), the software development team, customer support, and product marketing
  • Create, update, and maintain enterprise-wide requirements documentation
  • Construct executive summaries detailing the status of your project and present them to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct bi-weekly sprint reviews, and any ad hock meetings, to provide the status of your assigned custom development projects.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Can work on a hybrid schedule in our Lewisville, Texas office

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

  • 3-5 years of Scrum focused Product Owner experience
  • Complete understanding of all Scrum ceremonies
  • Able to confidently run backlog refinements and sprint reviews
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC and the Product Lifecycle components
  • Proven track record of successfully completing large scale custom development projects
  • Able to manage multiple projects spanning one or more development teams
  • Great communication skills (oral and written)
  • Able to negotiate deliverables for conflicting interests
  • Strong client service skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of Business Administration or a related fieldWe proudly support and encourage people with military experience, as well as military spouses, to apply

Additionally, you may have:

  • PSPO I, PSPO II, or other Product Owner certification
  • Familiarity with the US personal insurance markets and insurance agency processes
