What will you be doing?
We are seeking a Modeling Analyst in New York, NY (multiple positions)
1. Serve as a part of the Agency prepayment modelling team in the capacity of a developer and modeler.
2. Analyze data, make proposals to define the modelling constructs and implement and test the models.
3. Responsible for all aspects of implementation and testing models, documenting models to regulatory standards.
4. Conduct data analysis and present results to support modelling hypotheses, then implement models as proto-types and discuss implications in our analytic framework.
5. Own the initiative to create models and lead all discussions with appropriate stakeholders to present findings and establish a course of action compliant.
6. Collaborate with IT partners and other functions to facilitate the adoption of models developed.
7. Possess a working knowledge of mortgage valuation and modelling practices, and make decisions relating to the nest execution to goals as dictated by internal clients.
8. Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Policies and Policy Standards.
9. May telecommute.
What we’re looking for:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
