Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team. As the Front of House Supervisor, you will be responsible for working the register, pouring drinks, keeping the cleanliness of the dining room, and keeping the crew on top of sidework. This is a leadership role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, mentor skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties:

- Manage and supervise all front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders

- Ensure smooth and efficient operations during service hours

- Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front of house supplies, such as menus, napkins, and utensils

- Collaborate with the kitchen manager to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house operations

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner

- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, bar area, and restrooms

- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty

Experience:

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required

- Strong knowledge of kitchen management and food service operations

- Proven track record in inventory control and cost management

- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

- Experience with coffee service and catering is a plus

- Proficient in cash handling procedures
