Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst 

Inceed has partnered with a global leader in the petrochemical manufacturing industry to help find a skilled Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst to join their team! Relocation assistance available! 
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to join our client's dynamic team and play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's business processes through the effective utilization of SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project leadership, technical implementations & configurations, and expertise in areas such as cost accounting, product pricing, cost analysis, and margin analysis. The Senior SAP FICO Functional Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions that align with our business objectives and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:

• Lead and manage SAP-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.
• Coordinate project activities, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members to facilitate skill development and project execution.

• Drive end-to-end SAP implementations by gathering business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, and configuring SAP modules to meet business needs.
• Collaborate with business users to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using SAP functionalities.
• Participate in testing, training, and change management activities to ensure smooth transitions to new SAP solutions.

3. Technical Configurations:

• Leverage deep technical knowledge to configure and customize SAP modules according to business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Perform system testing and validation to guarantee accurate system behavior and data integrity.

4. Cost Accounting, Product Pricing, Cost Analysis, and Margin Analysis:

• Utilize in-depth expertise in cost accounting principles, product pricing strategies, cost analysis methodologies, and margin analysis techniques to design and implement SAP solutions that enhance financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align SAP functionalities with cost-related business processes.

5. Solution Enhancement and Support:

• Continuously monitor and assess the performance of SAP solutions, identifying areas for improvement and proactively proposing enhancements.
• Provide expert-level support to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Functional Analyst, with a demonstrated track record of leading successful SAP projects and implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules related to cost accounting, product pricing, cost analysis, and margin analysis.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing SAP solutions to align with business requirements.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Certifications in relevant SAP modules is highly preferred. 
• Experience as a technical resource in prior roles is preferred.
