Application Developer Manager

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Application Developer Manager to join their team!
This team member will lead the development staff, oversee each aspect of the development process, and act as a liaison between the development team, the business users, the leadership team and other key members of the organization. This individual will contribute to development of the product roadmap, defining requirements, and development timelines. 
Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the development and quality assurance teams, including individual goal setting, recurring one-on-ones, and regular performance check-ins.
• Manage staffing levels to support the needed throughput of the teams. Work with human resources and staffing agencies to recruit additional staff. Train new staff members on processes and development methodologies.
• Identify training and skill development needs for the team.
• Establish and maintain development standards to ensure quality output and efficient & effective use of resources.
• Prepare and delivers key management reports and proposals to leadership, as required.
• Ensure delivery within required budget and timeline for the given development project.
• Support the technical and strategic vision of the product department and translates the day-to-day issues into actionable feedback for the team and for leadership.
• Ensure adherence to software development architectural standards, established methodologies and best practices.
• Ensure department efficiency by predicting, planning, controlling, and implementing changes in workload, procedures, and schedules through analysis of the internal operation and business requirements.
• Foster and maintain good relationships with internal and external business partners to ensure processes and data integrity are ideal for supporting expected customer service levels.
• Work hands-on with the development team to architect, design, code, and implement innovative applications using full-stack technologies with an emphasis on security, availability, scalability and efficiency.
• Participate, support, and at times, lead daily standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives to drive continued improvement of the agile team with a focus on faster delivery of quality software.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or related field with 8 years industry experience or High School Diploma with 10 years of industry experience
• Computer Skills: Professional software development experience with preferred experience in the following areas.
  1. Programming methodologies: mob programming or pair programming
  2. Languages: .NET, PHP, web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular
  3. Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes
• Management: 2 years of leadership experience
• Soft Skills:
  1. Communication – Strong ability to communicate effectively with others clearly and concisely
  2. Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of the project or task
  3. Organized – Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task
  4. Low Ego - Ability to admit one's mistakes, be open accepting and willing to hear constructive feedback
  5. Presentation Skills – Ability to effectively present information publicly
  6. Problem-Solving Skills – Strong ability problem solve and recommend solutions
  7. Relational – Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple cross-functional groups, including internal and external clients. Self-Confident – The trait of being comfortable in making decisions for oneself
• Work Environment:
  1. Maintain confidentiality and exhibit reliable attendance in accordance with government, organization and department policies
  2. Demonstrate reliability supporting TEAM attendance standards as attendance and punctuality are key to the success for all.
  3. This job operates primarily in a clerical office setting in Tulsa.
  4. Travel up to 10%
