Are you ready to shift into the next gear of your career? As the Quality Supervisor within Inalfa you are in the driver’s seat for supervising Quality Technicians and evaluating plant quality personnels performance

SUMMARY

The Quality Supervisor plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and directs maintenance of internal quality systems and quality processes. The Plant Quality Supervisor communicates corrective actions to the customer, establishes effective containment, and verifies corrective action effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Establish and maintain system for statistical reporting of product compliance.
  • Supervises the Quality Techs
  • Supervises and evaluates plant quality personnel performance.
  • Supervises the product and process activity.
  • Supervises and maintains the corrective action system.
  • Maintains and follows all system procedures and policies.
  • Other duties may also be assigned required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quality Technicians

TS 16949 and ISO 14001 RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities listed in the Inalfa Roof System TS16949 Quality Manual and ISO 14001 Environmental Manual pertaining to this position are mandatory. Other responsibilities may be added, with or without notice in writing, at any time and it is the responsibility of this position to review such changes on a period basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum of B.S. Degree (Engineering or Manufacturing Operations Preferred)

Five years minimum quality supervisory experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office Software

ASQ certification (Preferred)

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Have the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
