General Helper (Manufacturing)

Reporting To: Tony Conte, Shop Manager
Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 / hour
Description
Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of company operations
- Perform hands-on manufacturing work (hand & power tools, assembly, testing, etc.)
- Perform lifting and moving operations
- Maintain facilities such as factory floors, machining equipment, and testing assets
- Train under the guidance of senior employees and continuously develop skills
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2 years of work experience and a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks involving manual labor
- Must have great communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to respond to changes in direction and priority while working multiple tasks at one time
- Ability to solve problems and quickly implement solutions
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment
- Experience with basic fabrication tools and processes (electric/pneumatic power tools, tube bending, machining, welding, etc.)
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, or construction trades
- Experience with forklifts, cranes and similar moving equipment
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
