Candidate Requirements:

Education/Experience: Associate’s degree in engineering technology

- A degree in automotive technology would be nice to have by not required

- ASE certification

- Alignment courses would be beneficial

- Years of experience in the Automotive industry, five years minimum

Preferred German automotive exp

- Electrical diagnostics exp and bumper-to-bumper repair knowledge

- This position also requires social skills because they will support high-end clients when there are promotional shoots/ commercials

• Diagnostic experience

Basic hand tools and MB diagnostic tools

- Mercedes exp or mercies cert would be preferred

- Performance will be tracked on the amount of work that is completed and the quality of repairs that are done

- This role does have a lot of trial and error due to them modifying different test vehicles, so that is also taken into consideration

Day to day:

- 10% meetings

- 60%Working on vehicles and completing checkpoints on the vehicle

- 30% Communication with a lead engineer on where the vehicle is at with the process

- If there is an event, there will be commercial help/ driving vehicles to shoot / will run high-performance driver training in some cases

- Weekly team meeting

- HM is very involved in the shop and will almost always be available to interact with

- If there is an even there will be a meeting the morning off the event

Top 3 must haves:

1 Communication / interpersonal skills

2 Self-starter and independent/ confident with their experience and vehicle knowledge

3 German auto knowledge and exp

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
