Improveit Home Remodeling is Hiring an Accounts Payable-Columbus, OH Near Columbus, OH

This is an ON-SITE role, working out of our Corporate office in Columbus, Ohio.The Cost Accountant plays a crucial role in financial management by analyzing, evaluating, and controlling costs associated with the goods and services provided by Improveit! Home Remodeling. This position requires a strong accounting background that requires you to review, investigate and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. The Cost Accountant must have the ability to work independently as well in a team environment.Essential Areas of Responsibility:

Timely and accurate processing of payables in Sage 50.
Process labor bills and analysis under Rapid Pay for subcontractors.
Maintain Installer charge backs and reporting.
Weekly check run.
Reconcile monthly bills, ensuring all recurring bills are paid timely.
Reconcile vendor statements ensuring all invoices are paid.
Reconcile lead cost and maintain reporting.
Reconcile credit card statements, ensuring receipts are received and coded correctly.
Filing invoices, documents, and other materials, per SOPs.
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Misc. projects as assigned by management

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
Effective time management and communication skills
Must have effective organizational skills, and the ability to establish priorities and to multi-task.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must have great attention to detail and accuracy.
High School Diploma
2 years of Accounts Payable experience
