Imperial Heating & Cooling, Inc. is Hiring a Project Manager Near Solon, OH

Position Summary:

Full-time position that will provides overall management on construction projects, interface with customers / clients, and assures successful completion of a project in terms of satisfaction for the customer and profitable projects for the company.

Duties:

  • Responsible for complete management of project through turnover, including pre-planning, cost estimating, contract review, manpower scheduling and dispute resolution
  • Review of project estimate to produce breakdown for cost coding and billing purposes
  • Purchasing of materials and equipment based on owners needs / specifications provided
  • Responsible for project schedule coordination
  • Coordinate arrangements and manage project subcontractors and suppliers
  • Conduct on-site meetings and inspections with superintendent
  • Prepare and process bulletins and change orders
  • Interact with office accounting team to complete project billings
  • Responsible for communicating project status and act as liaison with clients, owners and general contractors
  • Coordinate manpower requirements with Superintendent
  • Monitor job site for safe practices and adherence to Imperial Heating & Cooling’s safety policies
  • Responsible for project close out, documentation of activity, changes and profit and loss of project

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Engineering or Construction degree or equivalent through education and construction experience in the Plumbing or HVAC Trade
  • 2-5 years of construction design, engineering or direct project experience preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction field and experience assisting with estimating and scheduling of work
  • Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, sense of ownership is required
  • Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with ability to get along with both external customers and a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates
  • Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to balance multiple priorities
  • Unwavering customer service orientation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
