Account Manager (New Business Development)

Southfield, Michigan

Bartech Staffing is looking for an Account Manager that will specialize in new business development and growth. The ideal candidate will be very knowledgeable within the staffing industry, be driven, committed and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Sr. Account Director, The Account Manager is responsible for the strategic identification, development and management of new business. You will work with the fulfillment team to ensure that your client's positions (contract/direct) are supported in a timely and professional manner. You will be engaged in supporting Managed Service Program (MSP) business and non-MSP business. You will act as a trusted partner with clients and internal staff and be responsible for representing Bartech Staffing in a professional and knowledgeable manner. You should also be familiar with the Engineering and Professional Staffing market.

Responsibilities
  • Identify business opportunities via networking and past client relationships.
  • Perform intake calls with clients to determine scope of opportunity then engage with fulfillment team regarding client's needs.
  • Use targeted marketing and networking tools to extend your reach to business prospects.
  • Confidently articulate a range of staffing services to customers and consult on tailored talent solutions.
  • Establish a plan to grow and retain existing accounts and prospect for new clients who meet Bartech's New Business criteria with a focus on our target markets in the STEM sectors.
  • Respond to RFI's and RFP's using Bartech's Go / No Go criteria.
  • Negotiate pricing to ensure maximum return.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and business reviews with the client.
  • Engage with client to ensure candidates are reviewed and interviews are scheduled in a timely manner.
  • Build trust and credibility amongst clients/prospects, candidates, and colleagues by delivering to the expectations that you set.
Qualifications
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years of Business Development and Account Management experience
  • A solid understanding of negotiation/ setting expectations/knowledge in the Engineering and Professional Staffing space.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
  • Ability to provide strategic, out of the box solutions to our clients, acting as a true partner.
  • Ability to network and engage with prospective clients in creative, constructive ways.
  • Able to set own priorities and deadlines, make cold calls, prepare, and give formal presentations.
  • Be a collaborative team player, establish and maintain effective working relationships and appreciate everyone's role within the organization.
  • Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally, both in one-on-one and in group presentation situations.
