Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a talented individual to fill the following position:

Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 4:30 pm - 2:00 am

Experience Level: Mid-Level

Requirements:

1. Associate’s Degree in Radiology or a related discipline (Verification of Ky State license required).
2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
3. If holding a temporary license, obtaining ARRT or NMTCB within one year is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

• Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice when ordered. Monitor patient condition continuously and respond to changes appropriately.
• Prepare equipment and supplies, select exposure factors, and implement safety standards. Conduct quality control procedures on equipment and address malfunctions promptly.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results and address issues with imaging quality, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
