Radiologic Technologist: Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday) 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Our Award Winning Client, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join their dynamic team.

Must-Haves:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program verified by Kentucky State licensure.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Temporary license holders must obtain ARRT or NMTCB certification within one year.

Nice-To-Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Preference for candidates located in Kentucky to avoid relocation.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered. Continuously monitor patient condition, reporting and responding to changes as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment, troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions as necessary.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results, identify issues with imaging quality, and take appropriate action to resolve issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures. Enter, transmit, and report scan results.
