TITLE Mid-Level Radiologic Technologist: Weekend Shift

LEVEL Mid-Level

Must-Haves

1. Associate's Degree Required (Graduate of a Program Discipline in Radiology) verified by Kentucky State license.
2. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
3. If an employee holds a temporary license, they must obtain ARRT or NMTCB certification within one year.

Nice-To-Haves

1. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
2. Preference for candidates located in Kentucky to avoid relocation.

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Patient history review and physician's orders assessment.
• Patient education on procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Preparation and administration of contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Continual patient condition monitoring and response to changes.
• Equipment and supplies preparation, including selection of appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implementation of safety standards and performance of quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Patient positioning and imaging procedure performance.
• Analysis of imaging results and identification of quality issues.
• Resolution of image quality issues, including patient repositioning and procedure repetition.
• Entry, transmission, and reporting of scan results.
