Manufacturing Engineer – Waunakee, WI
A growing family orientated manufacturing company that has a "work hard/play hard" mentality needs a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer. Our client manufactures metal furniture and other outdoor metal products. They are looking for someone who can help them improve their operation and move the department forward.

What you will be doing:
·Help to maintain and improve the day-to-day operation of the production floor, using your expertise to troubleshoot manufacturing problems
·Utilize SolidWorks to design fixtures and revise products
·Work systematically through a list of projects that will improve the operation, making sure to fully complete and implement your work
·Be a “hands-on” partner to other areas of the company, especially the production floor
·Strive to cut waste using Lean Manufacturing practices
What they are looking for:
·Associate degree, or better, in Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related field
·At least 8 years of demonstrated success and growth as a Manufacturing Engineer in a metal fabrication environment
·They use robotic welding, CNC machines for sawing, punching and tube bending and the right candidate will have experience with these or similar processes
·You must know SolidWorks to create fixtures and modify designs to increase manufacturability of products
·A demonstrated self-starter who will take the initiative and learn what needs to be learned to accomplish a project
