We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Graduate-Designer 1 in our San Francisco, CA office. As an Electrical Engineering Graduate- Designer 1 you will be responsible for electrical design on projects of various sizes and complexities. This role will also perform calculations, system design, equipment selections, reports, progress submittals and BIM instructions to assure project completeness and accuracy on time, within monetary budget, and in accordance with IMEG design standards. Some key duties and responsibilities include: Independent design for some aspects of electrical systems for commercial buildings Coordinate, document, and schedule design projects Assist Senior Electrical Engineer with design projects Perform services and required by the contract services agreement Build, maintain, and develop client relationships Key skills and abilities needed for the position are: Precision in production of technical plans and drawings Knowledge and understanding of fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and BIM programs Ability to perform quality control checks for electrical systems Strong ability to communicate both orally and written Education and experience requirements are: Bachelor’s degree (Science) No Experience Electrical building systems design and/or knowledge of construction techniques a plus This position is not eligible for sponsorship So, what are you waiting for? Individual pay will be based on several factors including: experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
