Position: Clinical Training Director
About Us: The Institute for Multicultural Counseling & Education Services IMCES is a community clinic that provides direct service to underserved ethnically diverse populations with the spectrum of mental health challenges in our community. In parallel, IMCES provides workforce development/ clinical training programs to new and emerging professionals in our discipline.

Job description
IMCES has an opening for the position of Assistant to Clinical Director.
Qualifications and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Licensed in the state of California in the relevant discipline preferred (Licensed Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW) Pre-licensed acceptable
- 2 years of experience in management as Assistant to Clinical Director in a similar setting
- Familiarity with DMH Contracts & Documentation
- Knowledgeable about the structure of assessment, diagnoses, and documentation in the context of a community clinic
- Experience providing services in the spectrum of Severe Mental Illness (SMI), Moderate Mental Illness (MMI), and Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI).
- The position includes 10-20% of time providing direct services
- Knowledge of administering clinical operations/ staffing resource development
- Knowledge and practice of relevant policy and procedures
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic records)
- Ability to analyze data, familiarity with Electronic Health Records (Exym)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
