Your Impact

Next Health is seeking a Full-Time Functional Medicine Clinical Director with a strong interest in health, wellness & longevity to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an advanced provider with strong clinical and leadership skills, experience in hormone management, a passion for functional medicine, and the ability to help grow our practices while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

As the Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting thorough patient assessments and delivering primary healthcare services encompassing diagnosis, treatment, and post-care monitoring.

- Administering Hormone Replacement Therapy as part of patient treatment plans.

- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to formulate comprehensive treatment strategies.

- Educating patients and families on disease prevention, management techniques, healthy habits, and proper medication usage.

- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient care through electronic medical records (EMRs) maintenance.

- Ensuring seamless continuity of care by liaising with the Medical Director and other healthcare team members.

- Engaging in quality improvement endeavors and staying abreast of the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.

- Providing operational assistance across all locations, managing inventory transfers, and tracking medical staff competencies.

- Overseeing the licensing status of Medical Providers and Registered Nurses.

- Managing various licenses per location, including CLIA, BioHazard waste, and DEA, including renewal processes.

- Supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and California Medical Director (CA MD) in various tasks as required.

In this role, you can expect to:

- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care

- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers

- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as needed

- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and management

- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMRs)

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay up-to-date on best practices and clinical guidelines

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner who has:

- A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

- A valid California state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner

- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care or a related field

- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills

- Previous experience with hormone treatments

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical software

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $160,000 - $180,000 per year, plus benefits and bonus potential.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
