A Bit About The Role

An individual contributor as well as a team member, reporting to the Vice President of Sales – The America’s. The Strategic Business Solutions Manager will have responsibility for the sales of Imagine Communication’s Solutions with nationally named accounts as well as accounts in the greater Los Angeles area. As well as collaborating with The National Business Solutions Team on accounts for collaborative impact.

  • Provide a highly strategic approach to developing and executing business plan execution with enterprise level accounts.
  • Build and maintain profitable and strategic executive level relationships (SVP, EVP and C level) relationships at Tier 1 broadcasters.
  • Manage relationships at management and operational levels with prospective customers.
  • Achievement of revenue and orders targets.
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, coordinating and drawing on assistance from Technical Pre-sales, Bid Management and other operational areas as required.
  • Maintain accurate forecast and opportunity status in Salesforce.
  • Understand Imagine’s ad platforms and broadcast workflows.
  • Understand and stay attune to business drivers and trends within the broadcast industry and across the broadcast segment.
  • Establish and maintain great customer relations, with both internal and external customers. Engaging product managers in regular presentations to customers, assisting with resolution of customer concerns, and negotiating and closing sales.
  • Connect customers business needs with Imagine Communications solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership team and R & D teams on market trends and customer requirements.
  • Understand customer needs, expectations, and decision-making process.
  • Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline to manage priorities and provide forecasts.
  • Be aware of competitive solutions in use by prospective customers and build rationale for how Imagine can compete to enhance or replace them.
  • Build a political and organizational hierarchy mapping for each prospect to include decision makers, influencers, champions, and budget holders.
  • Gain strategic information about customers and the industry to help anticipate market trends.
  • Participation in trade shows, client conferences, industry events etc.
  • Ability to negotiate, construct and navigate complex commercial agreements.
  • Follow the in-house sales business rules, practices, and policies.

About You

  • BS/BA degree
  • Experience with selling complex solutions into large strategic and global accounts.
  • M & E Industry background with 10 years in Media and Entertainment technology field sales
  • Experience of focusing on driving new portfolio launches.
  • Dynamic and self-motivated with outstanding presentation and customer facing skills.
  • Understanding and experience with strategic sales methodologies
  • Demonstrated skills in negotiating and closing sales.
  • Deep knowledge of technology, business process, strategies, financial management and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated prospecting sales ability, with assertive, positive, and persistent style.
  • Ability to communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
  • Aptitude for continuous development sales skills and product knowledge
  • Highly organized, with effective time management skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong business acumen capable of understanding various business models.
  • Based near the Greater Los Angeles area. Remote office.
