- Ensure all employees receive proper training and onboarding
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and safe environment for our dogs
- Create and update cleaning schedule and hold the team accountable for safety and cleanliness
- Manage inventory of cleaning, dog, and first aid supplies
- Proactively dismiss dogs with ongoing behavior issues and implement action plans for those with minor issues
Financial and Administrative
- Oversee groomers and ensure quality control of work, safety, and schedules
- Take advantage of training opportunities for the team
- Control expenses within budgetary constraints, including forecasting and ordering supplies
- Develop the team's ability to upsell and grow revenue through dog evaluations
- Proactively communicate concerns or needs to the District Manager
- Work with the team to ensure we provide the highest quality of care for dogs
Customer Service & Presentation
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Set an example for the team in providing excellent customer service
- Keep team members engaged in their duties
