Compensation : $75,000 - $75,000 Per Year The K12 Nutrition Director position is a leadership role responsible for creating and implementing effective dining solutions to meet the unique needs and preferences of our customers.

This role oversees and manages dining operations where customers have the option to order prepared food items from a menu.

  • Implement and streamline processes and systems
  • Enhance revenue and efficiently manage budgets, including cost controls for food, beverages, and labor
  • Ensure timely completion and maintenance of profit and loss (P&L) statements
  • Meet targets for food and labor expenses
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure quality and cost control within budgetary guidelines Productivity
  • Implement and uphold the company's agenda for labor and food initiatives
  • Drive efficiency, cost control, and profit management through streamlined operations
  • Maintain full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals, including food and labor standards
  • Direct and supervise production, distribution, and food service operations Compliance
  • Foster a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees alike
  • Comply with all relevant policies, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to safety, health, wage, and hour regulations Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food products, as well as menu planning and development
  • Prepare forecasts for operational components and provide explanations for any variances; responsible for accounting functions related to components
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements in the respective areas
  • Coordinate and supervise unit personnel in areas such as production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor management, and employee training
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain front-line team members
  • Conduct regular inventory management
  • Maintain records to meet company, government, and accrediting agency standards
  • Interact with Client Management and cultivate effective relationships at all levels within the client organization
  • Potentially participate in the sales process and contract negotiations
  • Identify opportunities for the implementation of new products and services that support sales growth and client retention Additional Responsibilities
  • Manage the front-of-house operations in a dining facility, such as a cafeteria or residential dining facility
  • Develop and execute food service plans that align with the client's overall mission and vision, including sustainable practices Note : Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice. QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a management role
  • Previous experience in the food service industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with clients and customers to foster mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Excellent customer service abilities using the company's standard model
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments to provide a unified food service experience for all customers
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lb.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time Candidate Must Have :
