Illinois Institute of Technology is Hiring a Marketing Operations Data Analyst Near Chicago, IL

The Marketing Operations Data Analyst supports Illinois Tech enrollment by managing the scheduling and queuing of enrollment marketing email and text communications, establishing key performance indicators for multichannel enrollment marketing campaigns, creating dashboards in Salesforce and Google Data Studio to evaluate marketing plan performance, and assisting in troubleshooting CRM communication data issues.
Special Schedule Requirements
Allows for a remote work arrangement in accordance with the University’s Remote Work Guidelines and Policies for Staff.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred degree in Business Administration, Marketing Analytics, Data Science and Visualization, Information Science, Management Information Systems, or similar.
Knowledge & Skills
Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple (often competing) priorities, document procedures, troubleshoot technical issues, and meet tight deadlines;
Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA3/GA4), Google Data Studio, SQL databases, statistical analysis software such as Python or R;
Demonstrated experience in project management, executing communication campaigns, and data reporting/data visualization;
Experience working with a Constituent Relationship Management ( CRM ) system.
Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated high degree of independence and initiative; Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively on a team; Experience managing stakeholder groups; Knowledge of higher education admissions cycles; Experience working with Salesforce CRM , Google Data Studio and Microsoft Excel; Experience with project management software; A minimum of 2 years of work experience in higher education or non-profit field.

Marketing Campaign Operations:
Manage overall communications calendar in collaboration with our content creation team
Identify relevant audiences for email and text communication and builds campaign reports based on system data, monitoring admission funnel and summer melt communications timeline
Schedule email and text campaigns for enrollment marketing
Manage and track regular data exports for ongoing direct mail campaigns

Provide weekly dashboard of marketing engagement for enrollment management leadership
In collaboration with Director of Enrollment Marketing and Marketing & Communications, establish and track key performance indicators for multichannel campaigns
Analyze email, text, and direct mail campaign engagement data and ROI
Recommend strategic outreach based on findings

Data Management and Operations:
Assist with day-to-day technology operations of admissions office, including inquiry data entry, form creation and management, application tracker updates, and more
Maintain consistency of data by routinely cleaning and optimizing our Salesforce database
Collaborate with Enrollment Student Services to ensure the seamless transfer of data between TargetX, Gecko Engage, Forms Assembly, Banner, Campus Housing, Advising, and other platforms as needed
