As a Solid WasteEngineering Project Manager you will be involved in:
All candidates must be authorized to legally work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
As a Solid WasteEngineering Project Manager you will be involved in:
- The design, analyses, permitting and preparation of drawings and technical specifications and construction period services for solid waste management facilities, including coal combustion residual (CCR) facilities, and industrial facilities.
- General civil/environmental engineering duties
- Design of all aspects of landfills:
- Double composite liner systems
- Leachate conveyance and storage facilities
- Stormwater conveyance and storage facilities
- Landfill gas collection/treatment systems
- On-site roadways, and ancillary buildings and structures
- Develop permit application documents, contract drawings, specifications and estimates for landfills, transfer stations, landfill gas to energy facilities, and recycling facilities
- Preparation of engineering design reports, feasibility studies, and solid waste management plans
- Review of projects for compliance with plans/specifications
- Strong client and project management skills:
- Good communication, leadership, planning and mentoring skills required;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
Qualifications10-15 years experience in the design, permitting, document preparation and CQA of waste disposal facilities;
- Ability to coordinate the regulatory agency review process;
- B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus);
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure;
- Understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools.
