iLink Resources is Hiring a Design Project Engineer (MH) Near Houston, TX
Design Engineer – Gas Distribution
*All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our team located in Houston, TX.
This is a Hybrid remote position that needs to have the ability to come into the office for meetings and training.
Responsibilities:
- Working with Lead Engineer, developing gas construction plans.
- Reviewing existing gas maps and/or roadway plans.
- Will interface with Client a few months in – 25%.
- Working with drafting and GIS group – developing gas construction plans.
- Filling out request forms and administrative duties.
- Coordinating w/ Municipalities for various permits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Microsoft applications (Excel and Outlook), AutoCAD, and GIS experience are a plus.
- approximately 20% local travel.
- Understanding and making logical decisions for projects.
- 2 years of experience with gas and roadways.
- Hands-on experience.
- Understand roadway plans.
