iLink Resources is Hiring a Buyer (MH) Near Chicago, IL
- Performing various procurement tasks as required for all business units:
- Solicitation and coordination of vendor quotations for materials and equipment.
- Development of initial vender bid lists.
- Preparing material requisitions.
- Creating purchase orders for materials and equipment.
- Analysis, and initial evaluation of vender quotations for materials and equipment.
- Coordination of material.
- Performing a contract administrator role for managing and completing the contract documents for typical, small consultant or third-party service-provided contracts.
- Following systems of quality control and monitoring all projects in which procurement functions are performed.
- Providing input concerning potential process and design improvements related to procurement and construction contracting processes.
- Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 3 Years of experience in procurement, in a construction environment.
- Ability to procure materials for the construction of compressor stations, meter and regulator stations, pumping stations, and pipeline-related facilities.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain functions
- Experience with MS Excel and utilizing MRP systems.
