Position Summary:

This position supervises the Surveillance Technician(s) and prioritizes, organizes, and assigns work projects, will also perform duties of Surveillance Technician.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
• Provides daily direction for the Surveillance Technician(s) by supervising activities, providing performance feedback both formally and informally, interpreting and enforcing policies and procedures and communicating effectively.
• Analyzes workload and assigns work and/or projects to ensure completion in a timely manner.
• Responsible for record keeping related to assigned projects.
• Performs preventive maintenance on all applicable systems.
• Responsible for the implementation and documentation of newly designed systems.
• Coordinates technical assistance with manufacture’s tech support.
• Responsible for maintenance and/or repair of all CCTV and Access Control desktop applications and servers.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, written and telephone communication skills.
• Possess a strong understanding of the logistics of a digital surveillance system.
• Ability to thoroughly understand and apply the principles of “Electronic Theory”.
• Strong working knowledge of IT networks and infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of SQL database
• Working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Windows Server environment.
• Working knowledge of Linux
• Ability to use manual and/or power tools related to installation in new construction and/or old construction in a low-voltage environment.
• Ability to work in high areas using both ladders and aerial lifts.
• Ability to remain calm under stressful situations by analyzing, prioritizing, and using sound judgement to resolve issues.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
• On-call for emergency technical issues.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Surveillance Technician experience preferred.

*Due to the sensitive nature of the Surveillance position, transfer options may be limited to other departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $29.75 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• digital surveillance systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Working in high areas using aerial lifts: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
